Roscommon International Film Festival (RIFF) is an annual celebration of film, screenwriting, and creativity held at the Roscommon Arts Centre each October. The festival brings together filmmakers, screenwriters, actors, producers, and film enthusiasts from Roscommon, Ireland, and around the world to celebrate storytelling on the big screen. RIFF showcases a diverse programme of local, national, and international films while providing a platform for emerging and established creatives to have their work seen and heard.
This year’s festival begins on 22nd October with industry workshops, networking events, and creative development opportunities designed to connect filmmakers, writers, and aspiring creatives. The festival continues on 23rd and 24th October with film screenings, filmmaker Q&As, panel discussions, and an awards ceremony celebrating excellence across a range of categories. Audience participation is at the heart of RIFF, with attendees voting for their favourite film through the Audience Choice Award.
RIFF is committed to supporting new talent, encouraging collaboration, and building a vibrant film community in the West of Ireland.
