Tubbercurry Old Fair Day 2026
Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival will celebrate its 38th festival, running from Saturday 9th to the highlight of the festival, the Old Fair Day, on Wednesday 13th August. The five-day festival carrys on the tradition of the fair day of years past. The fair day is a treasure trove of activities from our demonstrators in our heritage and craft village, showcasing traditions from bygone days of the fair, artisan stalls, vintage displays, animals and live music. New is our Little Folks Fair in the hall. Highlights include Highland Cattle, Black Swans, Vintage Cars/ Machinery, Butter Making and delicious Boxty. We love seeing all the traditional skills such as thatching, weaving, butter making, trashing, pottery making, rush work making a return. In addition, families will enjoy the funfair, a kid’s zone, and over a hundred trade stands dotted throughout the town.
